The Husqvarna 142 chainsaw appeared in the product lineup around 2005 and is now replaced by a number of options in the light duty category. The most appropriate replacement for similar weight, engine capacity and power is the Husqvarna 135.
Customer said the saw would not start. Cleaned out fuel system and rebuilt the carburetor. After the rebuild, the saw was running a bit rich and stalled at high speed. Mixture adjustment brought the saw back to life.
